BODO MORSHÄUSER LIEST
Report 1984

EN

Morshäuser's story describes the happiness that he with a name associated: Sally. "Sally" means an ex-friend or current friendships, people or things, that our yearning activates or is simulated by.

The video-tape begins with the daily description of a view;
in the crowd of passers-by he finds himself a possible "Sally".
Morshäuser describes her. Then the reading. Still a video-tape, a likeness. The author becomes an icon. The meaningful development of the story begins to dominate the reading. It deals here with "Sally" until the denial of the view: "I close my eyes..." Black film.

Where the literature originates - and where it goes: The daily scene, the observation. A listener hears reading of Bodo Morshäuser and reacts associativly in his own way. Harmonica.

A video-clip for an author?  Do the pictures slay the literature? And then everything in a TV- magazine, that because of programming problems, "shortened" the last five minutes...
