EN Exhibition / Privacy / Art / Culture
From May 8 to June 7, two large-format panoramas will be on display in the "watch 22" exhibition at Bonifaziusturm A in Mainz.
The works were selected by the curators of the Essenheim Art Association under the patronage of the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Rhineland-Palatinate.

#WATCH22 IN THE BONIFAZIUSTURM The topic of data protection is as abstract as the art. The exhibition venue is quirky by Mainz standards - the combination of all this is highly exciting. And definitely worth a visit! The way to the 22nd floor is via an elevator. The Bonifaziusturm is currently being renovated and spruced up for its next phase of existence. Shortly before the 22nd floor is completed, the choice of this unusual location, which is in its raw state, has something unusually metropolitan for Mainz. And is therefore as surprising as the project implemented by Essenheimer Kunstverein e.V. itself. It is not enough to "convey a few facts and enumerate paragraphs" on the subject of data protection, says the patron and co-organizer of the supporting program, the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Rhineland-Palatinate, Edgar Wagner. What is needed, he says, are "sensual experiences, images above all, visual ideas, metaphors..." Combining the topic of data protection with art and culture - and giving this combination this extraordinary space for the next four weeks - that's really good and absolutely worth seeing!

DE Ausstellung / Datenschutz / Kunst / Kultur
Vom 8. Mai bis 7. Juni werden  in der Ausstellung »watch 22«
im Mainzer Bonifaziusturm A zwei großformatige Panoramen
